What is Barre?

Barre is a unique workout that combines Ballet-inspired movements, Pilates, and Yoga. It focuses on low-impact exercises targeting multiple muscle groups to improve strength, flexibility, and posture.

Do I need any prior dance experience to participate?

No, you don’t need any dance experience to join our barre classes. Our classes are designed for all fitness levels, and our instructors will guide you through the movements, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.

What should I wear and bring to class?

We recommend wearing comfortable workout attire that allows freedom of movement. Ballet or grip socks are encouraged, but not mandatory. Please bring a water bottle and a towel, as you may need them during the class.

How long are the barre classes?

Our Barre Signature classes typically last around 55 minutes whereas Barre Sculpt & Sweat classes last around 60mins. Classes usually includes warm-up, exercises at the barre, and floor work. The class concludes with a cool-down and stretch to help you relax and recover.

Can I join the classes if I have injuries or specific health conditions?

If you have any underlying health conditions or injuries, we strongly recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before participating in our classes. Our instructors can provide modifications to accommodate certain limitations, but your safety is our top priority.

Can I attend classes if I am pregnant?

It’s important to consult with your healthcare provider before participating in any exercise program during pregnancy. We can modify certain exercises to suit your needs and comfort level, but we recommend seeking professional guidance for personalized advice.

How do I sign up for classes?

To sign up for classes, you can visit our website or contact our studio directly. Create an account, browse the schedule, and select the class you wish to attend. You can then reserve your spot and make payment for individual classes or session packs.

What is your cancellation policy?

We kindly request that you provide at least 12 hours’ notice if you need to cancel your class reservation. Cancellations made within 12 hours of the scheduled class or no-shows will result in the deduction of the class credit.

Can I still attend class if I am late?

To maintain a productive and focused learning environment, students are encouraged to arrive 5-10mins before class commence.

We have a 10mins grace period. If student(s) arrive after the grace period, it will be considered as a no-show for that session.

This policy helps ensure that disruptions are minimized and that all students benefit from a structured and uninterrupted class.

In the event of an emergency that may prevent timely arrival, please reach out to us directly. We will address such situations on a case-by-case basis and work with you to find a suitable resolution. Thank you!

Package Related Questions

Do you offer session packs or memberships?

Instead of traditional memberships, we offer session packs that allow you to attend a specific number of classes. These packs provide flexibility and cater to various schedules and commitments.

Can I extend my credits?

Yes, you may extend your credits at $10 for 14 days (administrative fees). Please contact us via email at least 7 days before the credit(s) expire. 

Note that we will not extend any credits once the credits expires.
